Scottish Pre65 Kinlochleven
Pipeline Saturday afternoon 3 May 2003
I was visiting the Scottish Pre65 with my father Mark as a gift for his 80th birthday. It was a great event and we had a good time. Mark remembered again riding his Ariel 500 HT5, back in 1960 in Switzerland (unfortunatley he sold 1962 it, after the thumper fell on his anckle and broke it...)
On the evening of 2 May, we met Don Smith and Bill Brooker (his former racing manager) and talked a lot till midnight ! Don won the Swiss Alpentrial Oberiberg 1966 and remembered this event.
