Trial Soultz 7/8 July 2018

Moto Club Zone 68 under the president Mr. Thierra Gemsa organised the 2 days classic trial de Soultz near the wine route of Elsass. I have many good memories from earlier events and also beeing a member of this club (although only on the paper form for the UFOLEP licence), it was clear to drive up the Rhine 2 1/2 hours from Zurich. My good friend Walter Frei made his first entry to this great trial and loaded his BSA 350 in the Renault Espace. Arriving on Saturday morning, the good places in the wood were already occupied by English, Belgian and French Campers. But we found a nice place in the shadow under trees next to the road. The weather was fine, warm and dry. Summer in July can be hot, so we welcomed the freshness of the woods of Alsace.

Let's start in the middle with great pictures taken by Denise and Rainer on Sunday at zone. Rainer has a Honda TLR waiting for its first twinshock trials and wanted to have an eye on the scene.
Thank you for the fotos.

Thierry helped to organise this great trial. Merci for the big work

We ate nice diner, local food from Alsace: Choutecroute et saucisson (Sauerkraut und Wurst). There was also the blues rock trial band "red rooster" playing. Late in the night I luckily found my way in the dark back to my car and slept happily...zzzz
