Trial d' Arbecey 21/22 August 2010

Trail 70 and Joel Corroy called for the great 2 days Trial d'Arbecey with 30km rounds, 2x15km Saturdy and 2x30km Sunday.

So I loaded my Volvo with my Honda Pre 78 and started at 7 am in Zurich on a sunny Saturday.

I stopped in Vesoul after 2h drive at Trail 70, visited Joels great museum.

Beautiful collection, a must for all twinshock lovers, about 60 motorcycles.

Plus one room with all the JCM's. By the way, Javier Eiriz became Swiss Champion on a JCM about 1985...

Then I and bought a pair of new boots size 47.

Yes, the ones for the big Sammy Miller one dabs !! hihi

Arriving at Arbecey, I parked my Volvo next to Anne-Marie and Ernst Stampfli's Camping Truck.

Ralph Kunz and Eddy Kaempfer were already there. Urs Amstutz (Fantic)  and Rene (Bultaco) joined later and the Swiss Corner was complete.

I greated the East German Champ Gunther Rudloff on his Jawa, just next to my car. Have not met him since 2 years.

Then I went with my cam to take pics of the great trials bikes in the park. What a splendid mix, from all over Europe, even from Jersey came a bunch of (I got to now only later) great trialeros. From Spain some nice Puma prepared bikes.
